☐ If after training hours, direct licensed haulers to the correct barn.

☐ Make copies of all horse-related documents for record-keeping, including a list of horses that arrived, the trainer they are assigned to (with a time punch), and copies of the Coggins test, Pyro test, and Health Certificate.

☐ Deliver all copied documents to the race office for filing with the racing secretary.

Important Notes

  • Unauthorized vehicles and personnel must not enter the barn area.
  • Always keep an eye on the gate to ensure it is not left open unattended.
  • In case of a loose horse, keeping the gate closed is crucial to preventing an escape from the secure area.
  • Be firm but professional when enforcing security protocols.
